Stunned by Silence Screening at MOMA Wales, Machynlleth. April 9th 2025 at 12.00pm
Stunned by silence, is a beautifully haunting Curlew documentary narrated by Iolo Williams, it will be screened at the wonderful auditorium at MOMA Wales, Machynlleth, on April 9th 2025 at 12.00pm
Guest speakers include Mary Colwell, founder of Curlew Action and Julian Hughes from the RSPB. There will also be an opportunity to speak to the director and camera operator, Malka Holmes.
The event is an opportunity to come together to celebrate our iconic Curlew but also a gathering to discuss the importance of Curlew conservation and how we all have to work together if we are to save this beautiful bird from extinction.
The exhibition, Uplandscapes, featuring the art works of the painter Clyde Holmes (my father) will also be on show at MOMA Wales, his paintings and poetry feature in the film.
